Product Information
The Bund Deutscher Mädel ( BDM ) was the female branch of the Hitler Youth during the National Socialist era. In the spirit of the totalitarian goals of the Nazi regime, the girls between the ages of 14 and 18 were organized. The Hitler Youth also had the Jungmädelbund (JM) for 10- to 14-year-old girls. Due to the compulsory membership of all female adolescents from 1936, the BDM formed the largest female youth organization in the world at that time, with 4.5 million members in 1944.
